For Mwiimbi, he noticed Raquel the first day he saw her and immediately wanted to propose to her. Unfortunately, he had to leave the country due to work commitments but never forgot about her.

One day Raquel was surprised to receive a call from China - it was Mwiimbi on the other end. He expressed his interest  to her and proposed. They formalised their relationship four months later and as they say, the rest is history.

Their colourful wedding day was held at the Zambian Civic Centre, surrounded by their close friends and family. 

At the reception, several celebrity artists performed that got everyone on the dancing floor.
