Bogade, the new comedy series that premiered on One Zed in May is a must watch. The show features Smoke, Mwansa and Mulenga who are left to take care of the house after their parents leave for the USA. Pandemonium breaks out in the house as the unruly kids get out of control.

Their parents decide that their uncle, Jumbe from the village should move in with them and brings a rather new dimension to the politics of the house.

Uncle Jumbe (Davis Ngoma)

Played by Nasty D, Uncle Jumbe is the unpopular brother of his very wealthy brother who leaves him in charge of his children as he and his wife travel to the USA. However, he comes from the village and his old ways of doing things and bringing up children does not go well with the kids.

Born on 03-09-73 in Kitwe town, Nasty-D attended school in Kitwe and completed his grade 12 in 1991 at David Kaunda in Lusaka and proceeded to UNZA in 1993. Went to study in Zimbabwe as well as West London Collage in the UK before embarking on a professional music career in 1999. Lives in Lusaka as a business man as well as practicing musician. Ngoma is married with three children.

Joe ( Sean Miller)

Joe is the second born, very playful and handsome, which makes him a hit with the ladies and he does very little to hide it from everyone, a womanizer in every sense who doesn’t care much about anything else in life except for the ladies.

Mwansa (Kalu Kalonga)

Mwansa is the first born, very snobbish and bossy who finds her family very irritating at times, if not most of the times. Like most ladies, dealing with the quest to find love… which she doesn’t seem to handle very well, especially that her boyfriend is a super start.

Smoke (Kunkeyani Phiri)

Smoke is the last born, your typical last born who is an upcoming rapper. Doesn’t care about much in life except his music and trying to get a hit a song. Born on 11-09-92 in Lusaka Zambia, Kunkeyani Phiri completed his grade 12 in 2010 and went on to study marketing, He later ventured into music and today he's popularly known as Later went on to do music and today, he's popularly known as “Kunkeyani the jedi”. 

Eunice (Daisy Lusumpa)

Eunice is your typical maid from the compound… but very bossy with a no-nonsense attitude. Uncle Jumbe is very fond of her and she finds a comfort in him. Chinyimba Daisy Mwansa Lusumpa Aka Chichi Daisy, studied programming, but decided to follow her passion of becoming a television personality and actress. 

Bobby East (Robert Chunga)

Robert Chunga known by his stage name “Bobby East” is an award winning rapper/producer signed to XYZ entertainment. He first came into prominence in 2010 after his song Ma Fyompebles went viral.  A student of all things artistic "Bogade" marks the first time he has ventured into acting.

Bogade airs every Tuesdays at 21h00 with repeats on Thursdays at 09h00 and Sundays at 19h30 on GOtv 8.
